Stimulating Release of Natural Growth Hormones

HGH Releasers

The pituitary gland which is located at the very front (anterior) of the brain has a few major tasks, one being the release of the hormones that enable growth of both skeletal muscle and long bone. These growth hormones are the body’s own natural form of anabolic steroid, anabolic meaning cellular growth. The cells that are stimulated both increase in size and divide creating muscle mass or growth. The hormones that promote the protein synthesis and the uptake of amino acids into cells can also play a role in the burning of fats as a source of energy for the body. This increase of lipolysis or fat burning reduces the requirement for glycogen being used as the bodies’ fuel. Secretion of these human growth hormones (HGH) is stimulated by hormones called growth hormone release hormones (GHRH). Certainly the combination of HGH, regular exercise and a healthy diet will increase production of growth hormones. Many exercises prescribers will argue that growth can be achieved through good eating practices and exercise outside of the comfort zone without the need for supplements or artificial steroids.

Researchers have conducted several case studies with the intent to increase growth of muscle cells to try to reduce the aging process. By supplementing HGH to a number of study participants one study showed exciting results in the research of HGH. The participants who were supplemented the HGH did indeed show an increase in muscular size, development and strength. They also showed signs of reduced excess weight and were noted to have achieved a 20 year reduction in physiological changes over the period of the case study. Other studies were not so lucky with their investigation and did not achieve the positive results as per the first discussed study. Their findings were unfavorable to a point that they tried to discredit the findings of the first experiment. Scientists of the second study claimed that any increase in muscle size was in fact a result of water retention and nothing more. They were not however able to discredit the other findings such as muscular strength increases and fat reduction. These two studies and many more have really only accomplished to divide the scientific community quite equally between pro HGH release supplementation and those who are against such artificial stimulation of growth.

Those medical and scientific staffs that are against the supplements use do have further reasoning besides the negative results acquired. Prolonged or undisciplined use of HGH for their anabolic reactions can have serious side effects. These include the arrival of carpal tunnel syndrome; the increased chance of diabetes and at worst the onset of psychological disorders that case unnecessary aggression and random violent acts. Consumers must make the most educated choice with the available resources before commencing a course of HGH.
